In the 2nd year of the R2R program, we will offer a year of skill building classes such as Team Science, Project Management, and other topics designed to help R2R trainees. ESP will develop skills in teamwork, data analysis, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary communication while facilitating cohesion and programmatic continuity for trainees.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]For the Fall 2019 quarter, the Eco Evo 262 Professional Workshop was offered. Each quarter, similar skill-building classes will be offered as part of the ESP program.
A Brief Course Description for Eco Evo 262:
This field course is designed to provide you with opportunities to develop professional, technical, and partnership skills in more depth.
This course will allow you to 1) network with professionals working in the field, and 2) build focused professional and technical skills and knowledge in areas relevant to your interests as well as the management of natural resources in and around urban complexes.
Students are required to conduct informational interviews and participate in professional workshops and submit reflections related to workshop content and the field of resource management. This course is offered in collaboration with MCRS but tailored to R2R trainee needs.
