Ridge 2 Reef Program Success and Sustainability

The Ridge to Reef Summer Institute on Program Successes and Sustainability was designed to provide a platform for trainees to highlight their research, network with professionals, and increase their professional development skills. The majority of the Institute focused on creating an outline for a manuscript to be submitted for publication. The Institute was supported by a National Science Foundation Research Traineeship (NRT) grant to UC Irvine focused on the management of human-impacted ecosystems across marine, aquatic, and terrestrial environments. Some learning activities included a group project, networking opportunities, and speakers from other NRT programs.
